Printed Shirts — overview

Resort, casual and tropical printed shirts in rayon, viscose and cotton, from short-sleeve beach shirts to full-sleeve party wear. It belongs to our men's casual & formal wear range, part of the garments & apparel division of Hurain Garments Exporter.

Men's casual and formal wear is the largest single line in India's apparel exports, and the one importers reorder most often. Tiruppur and Ludhiana make knitted T-shirts and polos, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru make denim and woven shirts, and Mumbai and Delhi NCR make trousers and cargo wear. We work with factories in these clusters so a buyer can put jeans, shirts, T-shirts and trousers on one purchase order and one container.

Every style is sampled before bulk. We agree the fabric, wash, fit block, size ratio, label and packing on a pre-production sample, then inspect against that sample at 100% for measurements and visual defects on an AQL basis before the goods are loaded.

About our printed shirts

Printed shirts are the fastest-moving fashion line in warm-weather markets, and designs age quickly. That is why we run small-batch digital printing alongside conventional rotary and screen printing: a buyer can test twenty designs, see which sell, and then reorder the winners in rotary quantities.

Print quality depends on the base cloth. Rayon challis drapes well and takes bright colours but shrinks if it is not pre-treated, so we ask the printer to pre-shrink and to wash-test every lot. We photograph the print against your Pantone references so shade differences are caught before cutting, not after loading.

Many importers use printed shirts as a bridge product: they add a few designs to a container of basics such as T-shirts and jeans, which spreads the minimums and keeps the shelf fresh without a large commitment.

Printed Shirts: fabrics, sizes and colours

Sizes: S–3XL regular fit; relaxed and boxy cuts for resort shirts; kids' printed shirts 2–14 years.

Colours: Print designs in 4–8 colourways per design; seasonal palettes are suggested for each market.

  • Rayon challis and viscose twill 100–130 GSM
  • Cotton voile and poplin for printed shirts
  • Cotton-polyester blends for durable prints
  • Linen blends for natural-look prints

Construction and finishing of printed shirts

  • Camp, Cuban or standard spread collars
  • Fully matched pattern repeats on front placket and pocket
  • Coconut-effect or plain buttons
  • Overlock-finished side seams with bar tacks
  • Optional chest pocket and curved hem

When buyers order printed shirts

Printed shirts sell hardest for spring and summer, beach and resort seasons, and festive weeks; orders for the northern summer are placed October–January.

Minimum order: Typically 1,000–1,500 pieces per design, with minimum 3 colourways; digital printing allows smaller runs of about 300 pieces per design at a higher unit cost. Lead time: 40–50 days including strike-off approval; digital print samples in 7–10 days.

Testing and care labelling

Care: Cold wash with like colours, line dry in shade, cool iron on the reverse; rayon prints should not be tumble dried.

  • Colour fastness to washing, rubbing and light
  • Print crocking and hand-feel assessment
  • Fabric shrinkage tolerance after wash
  • Azo-free dye declaration

Printed Shirts made in bulk to your colour, size and design

You are not limited to stock designs. We make printed shirts in bulk in the colour you choose, in the sizes and size ratio your customers wear, and in the design you supply. A reference garment, a tech pack, a sketch or even a photograph is enough to start.

How it works: send a Pantone code or fabric swatch for colour and we return a lab-dip; send your size chart and the ratio you want in each carton; send artwork, print, embroidery or label files for the design. We make a sample for approval and then produce the bulk to that approved sample, so the order you receive matches the one you signed off.

  • Colour: Print designs in 4–8 colourways per design; seasonal palettes are suggested for each market.
  • Size: S–3XL regular fit; relaxed and boxy cuts for resort shirts; kids' printed shirts 2–14 years.
  • Design and branding: your own artwork, engineered to the garment panels, matching of prints to pocket and placket, exclusive designs held for one importer per market and private labels and custom swing tags.

Yes. Send artwork as a vector or high-resolution file and we will prepare a strike-off and a made-up sample before bulk printing.

What is the smallest order for printed shirts?

Digital printing starts at about 300 pieces per design; rotary printing is more economical from 1,000–1,500 pieces per design.

Will rayon prints shrink?

Rayon can shrink if untreated. We use pre-shrunk fabric and cut with a shrinkage allowance, and we verify with a wash test on every lot.

Can I mix jeans, shirts and T-shirts in one order?

Yes. Styles from different factories are consolidated at our Gujarat warehouse and shipped as one FCL or LCL container with one set of export documents.

What is the minimum order quantity for printed shirts?

Do you export printed shirts to my country?

Yes. We export printed shirts worldwide, with the strongest demand in the Gulf, Africa, Europe and North America, by sea (FCL or LCL) or air. Tell us your destination port and we will quote CFR or CIF.

Can I get samples of printed shirts before a bulk order?

Yes. We send fabric swatches, a lab-dip and a made-up sample with a measurement sheet so you can check fabric, fit and finish before confirming a bulk printed shirts order. Sample and courier charges are usually adjusted against the main order.

What documents are supplied with an export order of printed shirts?

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading or airway bill as standard, plus test reports, OEKO-TEX or social-compliance documents, or fumigation certificates where applicable.
